FSU football fans will have plenty to root for in the coming days as former Noles take the field for the Championship Game round of the NFL playoffs.
What started two weeks ago with 12 National Football League teams and 10 former FSU football players fighting for the right to make it to Super Bowl 53 in Atlanta in two weeks is down to the final four teams – and half of those former Seminoles still in the running to join the list of those who have played in the big game.
For the first time since the 2015 season, the top two teams in each conference have made it to the final round before the Super Bowl – with the New England Patriots being the only one of those teams who also was involved that season. This year, the Pats are in their eighth straight AFC title game but will have quite a battle in Kansas City in a regular season matchup.
