Florida State basketball’s 2019 recruiting class is already looking good. With four signed commitments and one verbal pledge already secured, next year’s group of new Seminoles is currently ranked the No. 14 recruiting class in the country, as well as the No. 3 class in the always formidable ACC. And it could be getting a lot better.
Anthony Edwards, the country’s top shooting guard and a five-star prospect, will be making his official visits to a handful of blue-blood programs, and FSU, thought by many to be in the lead for Edwards’ services, has made the list. Edwards (6’5, 215), out of Atlanta’s Holy Spirit Preparatory School, is the top player from Georgia and the No. 4 overall player in the country. Edwards made some noise earlier in the year when he reclassified to the class of 2019 after previously having been a part of the class of 2020.
