FSU recruiting could be picking up some momentum heading into the early signing period as another key commit shuts it down.
FSU recruiting had one blue chip commit to shut down his recruitment two week ago and now another blue chip commit has done the same.
Four-star defensive end Curtis Fann announced he’s shutting everything down and plans to sign with FSU football on December 19th during the early signing period.
Fann is the No. 243 ranked player overall and No. 17 ranked SDE in the nation.
He was visited by FSU coaches Sunday and plans to visit FSU on December 14th with a host of other recruits/commits.

Absolutely huge for Willie Taggart and coaches to have Curtis Fann shut down his recruitment. It’s similar to a new commitment in that it gives the perception of momentum on the recruiting trail.
FSU recruiting has been going warp speed this week with visiting commits and players they want to add to the class.
FSU has 15 commitments with almost of them being solid to the Noles, but there are a couple that are shaky or most expect FSU to lose.
The good news is the coaching staff are aware and seem to be putting in the necessary work to either confirm those players will or will not be in the class and move accordingly.
It’s a great sign for the coaching staff that these players still believe in the program after such a tough season that failed to meet expectations.
It would be great if more commits went public with shutting down their recruitment so we’ll see if this continues.
Several of the commits plan to enroll early which bodes well for their contributions to the team in 2019.
