

The Florida State coaching staff is hitting the recruiting trail this week for one last round of in-home visit with their top recruiting targets before early signing day. The staff has just over one week until the early signing day, but because they’re hosting a big official visit weekend, the FSU staff will be off the road on Friday. The early signing period begins on Wednesday, December 19th.
In these final days of the 2019 recruiting cycle, FSU’s primary focus is on landing quality offensive linemen. Most of FSU’s issues on offense come back to their ineffectiveness up front and the staff is looking to correct those issues with a mixture of high school and JUCO recruits in this class.
The FSU staff would like to add somewhere between 4-6 offensive linemen in this class. They currently have one lineman committed in four-star offensive guard Dontae Lucas. Lucas is the 6th ranked guard in the country and the 118th best player overall.
