On Wednesday afternoon, a report suggested Florida State quarterback Deondre Francois was considering transferring from the Seminoles program. Later Wednesday night, a new report claimed that Francois had already made up his mind and intended to either leave Florida State for the NFL or as a transfer.
It didn’t take long for Francois to respond to the claim that he’s leaving the Florida State program. The Seminoles quarterback took to Twitter with a simple message.
“Fake news – Stop spreading rumors,” Francois said on Twitter.

Francois’ freshman season led many to believe Florida State was set to be a power for the next three years. He racked up over 3,300 yards through the air and had an acceptable 20 touchdowns to just 7 interceptions.
However, the past two seasons have been rough for the Seminoles quarterback as injuries have plagued him in recent seasons.
Despite the struggles, it looks like Francois doesn’t plan on going anywhere just yet.
