Florida State’s home match-up with No. 14 Boston College has been six-day optioned for Saturday, Nov. 17.
The game time and TV broadcast channel will be announced following Saturday’s game. Duke at Clemson and Miami at Virginia Tech were also six-day optioned.
The Seminoles (4-5, 2-5) play No. 3 Notre Dame Saturday at 7:30 p.m. before returning home against the Eagles (7-2, 4-1).
FSU leads the all-time series 11-5, including seven of the last eight, but the last meeting between the two teams was a dominating 35-3 blowout by the Eagles.
The Seminoles have never finished ACC play with six losses. It’s only the third time in program history FSU has lost five ACC games in a season joining the 2006 and 2017 teams in that dubious distinction.
BC is FSU’s final ACC game of the year. The Seminoles face rival Florida Nov. 24 to close out the regular season.
