Florida State Football, recruiting news: FSU hits the practice field with bowl streak in serious jeopardy

Football

The Seminoles were back on the practice field Wednesday in preparation for their home game against Northern Illinois this Saturday. Courteney Korosec has your full practice report.

Hear defensive coordinator Harlon Barnett speak to the media before practice.

Stanford Samuels III and Brian Burns also spoke with the media before they hit the field.

As of right now, Florida State is not projected to make a bowl game. David Visser breaks it all down.

Part of the reason for this could be that FSU has the second-worst third down rate of any FBS team.

As well, no FBS team with numerous field goal attempts is less successful that FSU.

Florida State’s punt protection better improve quick fast and in a hurry. No FBS team has blocked more punt attempts than Northern Illinois. (Of course).
