Tru Thompson, 6-0, 324, DT, Loganville, Ga / Grayson: A four-star prospect according to ESPN and three-star according to 247Sports and Rivals. Thompson is ranked as the nation’s 29th defensive tackle and 50th overall prospect in Georgia by ESPN.
Curtis Fann Jr., 6-1, 252, DE, Stillmore, Ga / Emmanuel County Institute: The four-star prospect gives the Seminoles speed and power on the defensive line. Fann is rated No. 29 nationally according to Rivals and is 17th among strong side defensive ends according to 247Sports. He picked FSU over Georgia and South Carolina
Jaleel McRae, 6-2, 236, LB, New Smyrna Beach, Fla / IMG: According to ESPN, McRae is the No. 11 outside linebacker and 122nd prospect in the country. He is rated as four-star linebacker by ESPN and Rivals and three-star by 247Sports. He was named to high school Dick Butkus Award watch list, an award given to nation’s best high school linebacker.
Derrick McLendon II, 6-3, 233, DE, Decatur, Ga / Tucker : McLendon II brings versatility to FSU as the four-star prospect has shown he can line up on both sides of the ball. As a defensive end, he’s the 19th weak side defensive end in the country according to Rivals and 37th by 247Sports. McLendon II finished his high school career with 85 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks.
