These are other prospects that FSU has been involved with in recent weeks that are expected to sign this week or make a decision at an All-Star event:
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star running back Trey Sanders. Alabama has been the long-time favorite on the 247Sports.com Crystal Ball. Recent buzz has been positive for Georgia. Florida, Florida State and Texas are also finalists, but not the likely destination for Sanders as things stand today. He will decide on Wednesday, signing at that time, and enrolling early at his school of choice.
Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove five-star wide receiver Jadon Haselwood may sign this week. His choice may not become public at the time though, as Haselwood may wait until the All-American Bowl to make his choice public. His choice is expected to come down to Georgia and Miami, but Florida State, Oklahoma and Tennessee are also in the mix and hosted him for recent visits. He is expected to enroll early at his school of choice.
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star offensive tackle Evan Neal. Alabama is considered the favorite, and the 247Sports.com Crystal Ball reflects that. Georgia and Miami have also made a strong push for Neal. Florida State and Oklahoma also hosted him for official visits. All five remain in the picture. He will decide on Wednesday, singing at that time, and enrolling early at his school of choice.
Apopka (Fla.) Wekiva four-star defensive tackle Tyler Davis will announce his commitment and sign on Wednesday. At this time, he is expected to choose Clemson over Florida State. He is set to enroll early at his school of choice.
Gulport (Miss.) four-star outside linebacker Derick Hall is set to decide later this week. Most feel Auburn and Mississippi State are his top two, and have been throughout his recruitment, but Florida State feels they have hung around and Ole Miss has picked up some recent Crystal Balls – as they were the last school to host him leading up to his ultimate decision. The 247Sports.com Crystal Ball reads in Auburn’s favor at this time. Hall will sign early and enroll at his school of choice.
Houston (Texas) Dekaney four-star cornerback Marcus Banks is set to unveil his choice on January 5th at the All-American Bowl. He could sign early and ask for the school of his choice to keep it quiet. Texas A&M is the favorite on the 247Sports.com Crystal Ball for the former LSU pledge. He officially visited Alabama, Florida and Florida State as well.
Charlotte (N.C.) Harding University four-star athlete Quavaris Crouch is set to decide in the coming days, issuing a silent commitment, but doesn’t intend to make his commitment public until the All-American Bowl. FSU was in the mix here, hosting him for an official, but the choice appears to be coming down to Clemson or Tennessee, with Michigan still in consideration. Clemson was the long-time leader on the 247Sports.com Crystal Ball, but Tennessee is surging after an unexpected visit to Knoxville this past weekend.
