Florida State has made the Peach State a priority under Willie Taggart, and four of FSU’s five signees from Georgia recently made the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s 2018 All-State high school football team in their respective classifications.
Defensive end Derrick McLendon of Tucker High made the Class AAAAAA team. At 6-f0ot-3, 228 pounds, McLendon is rated three stars and is the No. 392nd overall prospect in the 2019 class. He recorded six sacks on the season, per Max Preps.
Linebacker Kalen DeLoach from Islands High in Savannah made the Class AAA team. DeLoach (6-2, 206) is one of the highest-rated signees in FSU’s class as he’s ranked as the country’s No. 243 overall prospect.
Defensive end Curtis Fann of Emanuel County Institute in Twinn City made the Class A-Public team. He’s also rated four stars and is the No. 286 overall prospect in 2019.
Linebacker Kevon Glenn of Dutchtown High made the Classs AAAAA team. He is rated as the No. 884 prospect in the 2019 class.
