Florida State senior defensive tackle Demarcus Christmas measured in at the Senior Bowl on Tuesday morning.
Christmas measured in at 6-foot-3, 302 pounds with an arm length of 32 1/4″ and a hand measurement of 8 5/8″.
Seminoles.com listed Christmas at 6-foot-4, 305 pounds this past season.
Christmas is the lone Seminole at the 2019 Senior Bowl.
As a senior, Christmas was named to the All-ACC Third Team. He was also named FSU’s Most Valuable Defensive Lineman at the team banquet. The redshirt senior from Sarasota (Fla.), who attended Manatee High School, appeared in 51 career games, starting 38 total including a streak of 29 consecutive starts from 2016 to 2018 – a streak that was snapped when he didn’t dress against Northern Illinois this past season. He finished his career with 105 tackles (48 solo), 10.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 13 passes defended, two fumble recoveries and a blocked kick. He had just 28 tackles (14 solo) and 3.0 tackles for loss this past season in 11 games. He also had two passes defended and a quarterback hurry as a senior.
Christmas will now participate in Media Day and other events at the Senior Bowl. He will also take the field with the South Team for practice beginning at 2:30 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday, 4 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday and 4 p.m. (ET) on Thursday. All practices are open to the public and being held at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. Those practices will also be broadcast by the NFL Network.
