FSU signee Naheem McLeod goes off for 41 points in season-opener

Florida State men’s basketball signee Naheem McLeod of Plymouth Meeting (Pa.) Plymouth-Whitemarsh scored 41 points and 14 rebounds in his season-opener on Friday evening against Norristown.

Highlights of his performance are below:

McLeod was named the Raw Sports Player of the Game. He conducted this interview after the strong performance:

McLeod committed to and signed with Florida State on Nov. 19th. He chose the Seminoles over La Salle, Rhode Island, Temple and more.

The 7-foot-3, 230-pound big man is one of four early signees for the Seminoles. FSU is looking to round out their class with potentially two late signees as well. FSU’s class currently ranks No. 14 in the nation and No. 3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference for 2019.

The Composite ranks McLeod as the No. 35 center in the nation.
