Series History: FSU has an 8-1 record against Troy. The series between the Seminoles and the Trojans began on Dec. 12, 1947 and was the second game in the history of the Florida State basketball program. The Seminoles won the first game played between the two teams – 57-37 in Tallahassee. Florida State enters its 2018 game against Troy with a seven-game winning streak in the series and has won every game in the series since a 68-64 win at Troy on Dec. 15, 1948. FSU’s lone loss in the series came on Jan. 30, 1948 at Troy, 49-48. FSU is 51-8 all-time against teams from the Sun Belt Conference.
Dominant at home: The Seminoles are 36-1 (.973 winning percentage) at home on non-ACC games since the beginning of the 2013-14 season. FSU has won 28 consecutive non-conference home games.
