The Florida State Seminoles are now one game away from becoming bowl eligible, after an exciting 22-21 win on Saturday. FSU broke their three game losing streak in dramatic fashion, when Deondre Francois hit receiver Tamaorrion Terry on a 74-yard touchdown with under two minutes remaining in the game. The defense was able to hold on the ensuing drive and Francois took a knee to end it.
After the game Noles247 caught up with FSU’s major recruiting targets and commitments to get their thoughts on the win. Here’s what they had to say:
Four-star OL commit Dontae Lucas: “Fought till the end and didn’t let up!”
Four-star DL commit Curtis Fann: “We needed that so much.”
Four-star DL commit Quashon Fuller: “Im soo happy for the team on how they never gave up on the game.”
Four-star DB commit Nick Cross: “Defense made stops when they needed to. Offense scored when they needed to everyone stayed poised.”
Four-star DB commit Brendan Gant: “Great team win and great momentum going into next week!!”
2020 OL target Zane Herring: “I didn’t get to watch the full game but I just saw they won and celebrated in the living room.”
