SCOTT’S TAKE: So long, South Dakota. It was real. Enjoyed having you on the ballot, but wins matter — especially when you’re a mid-major team trying to make it in the Top 25. Wins apparently don’t matter, though, when it comes to Florida State. The Seminoles are 11-1 on the season yet can’t sniff the poll. And that’s with a win against a then-No. 12 Iowa team and victories against Florida and Penn State.
