TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) — It was a near storybook begin to the remaining time of a storybook career for Mike Martin and the Florida Point out Seminoles baseball crew.
Florida Point out swept their four-game collection towards the University of Maine and did so in fashion, outscoring the Black Bears 42-9, tossing a combined no-hitter on opening night and observed the emergence of a young star in the producing: freshman outfielder Robby Martin.
This earlier weekend, Martin led the Seminoles offense, hitting .438 with 9 RBIs and established an FSU record in his 1st game in garnet and gold, knocking in five runs, the most for an FSU freshman in a time opener.
