FSU football is facing an uphill battle this weekend against the number two team in the country, but there is no reason to say they can’t win this game.
To hear the experts say it, there is no reason that FSU football should even be on the field with the Clemson Tigers this weekend – in fact, the Seminoles should just call the game now and forfeit to save themselves the embarrassment of losing a blowout game and save Clemson the time and money of traveling down to Tallahassee.
Of course, that is why they play the games on the field and not on a piece of paper.
For the last three seasons, the Tigers have been the better team at the end of the game against the Noles – but each season has seen the Seminoles either be leading (2016), tied (2015) or trailing by just three points (2017) late in the fourth quarter against Clemson teams who were projected to handle business.
Now, is that going to take place again this season? With Clemson being an over two touchdown favorite, most people don’t think so – but here are three big reasons why FSU football has a legit shot of pulling off the next big upset this season.
