Florida State head coach Willie Taggart certainly has a ton on his plate. The stakes are high and simple: if the Seminoles program he inherited doesn’t win its last two games, home contests against Boston College and rival Florida, then the Seminoles’ postseason streak of 37-straight bowl appearances will come to a stop. No pressure.
After Saturday’s blowout loss at Notre Dame, I was there to hear Taggart talk about how FSU fell short. He cited execution — and drops — on offense, as well as poor tackling on defense as primary culprits for the Seminoles’ resounding defeat.
We expect him to comment further on these areas, and probably more on the future of the QB position, in today’s presser back in Tallahassee, as well as offering more specifics on an Eagles teams that simply smoked the ’Noles last year. Updates will be provided in the comments section below— be sure to chime in.
