Previous Florida Point out managing back again and linebacker ZaQuandre White is enrolled at Iowa Western Neighborhood College or university, Noles247 has figured out.

White did not return to FSU for the spring semester and indicated that he was in Iowa through a couple social media posts. According to Iowa Western mentor Scott Strohmeier, White is at the group college or university and will participate in managing back again for a Reivers team that is among the finest JUCO programs in the region.

White arrived to FSU as element of a loaded managing-back again class in 2017, joining 5-star recruits Cam Akers and Khalan Laborn. White, from Ft. Myers, was rated as a four-star prospect. He redshirted in 2017 and moved to exterior linebacker in 2018. There, White flashed as he recorded 22 tackles in 11 games. But he also was suspended at the very least two moments in the earlier calendar year (once in the spring for undisclosed disciplinary causes, and once in the season after he was ejected for throwing a punch at a Clemson participant).

This opens up a spot on FSU’s two-deep depth chart at Star linebacker — a hybrid position that demands the athleticism to defend in house — powering starter Jaiden Woodbey. The Seminoles will probably turn to one of their incoming freshmen — this sort of as rangy linebacker Kalen DeLoach or actual physical basic safety Brendan Gant — to add depth to the position.
